How I Can Help

Family life can be difficult even when everyone cares about each other and nobody is “the problem.”

Households become strained when schedules change, children need different kinds of structure, one parent carries too much of the invisible work, a deployment or move shifts roles, or the family has simply outgrown the routines that used to work.

This may sound familiar

  • Every morning or evening feels like a repeat of the same conflict.
  • One parent is carrying most of the planning, remembering, and organizing.
  • A child needs more support with focus, routines, transitions, or follow-through than the household currently knows how to provide.
  • Different parenting styles are creating tension.
  • A PCS, school change, deployment, reintegration, or move overseas has disrupted family routines.
  • You want the home to feel more predictable without trying to control every detail.

What we can work on

  • Clarifying household expectations
  • Creating routines that are easier to follow
  • Reducing repeated conflict around transitions and responsibilities
  • Supporting parents in responding consistently
  • Dividing invisible labor more deliberately
  • Adapting family systems around attention and focus-related differences
  • Planning for periods of separation, reunion, travel, or major schedule change

What the work looks like

The focus is practical: what is happening in the household, what pattern keeps repeating, which expectations are unclear or unrealistic, and what could be changed in the environment, routine, or communication. Nicole brings both professional preparation and long-term military-family experience to these conversations.

When this is not the right service

Parents, adult family members, and intended preteen/teen clients age 11+ may be supported around routines, focus, transitions, communication, family changes, and other concerns that fit the service scope. Direct service to anyone under 18 must use the approved parent/guardian consent, safeguarding, privacy, and insurance process before it is enabled. This service is not family therapy or child mental-health treatment.

Something doesn't have to be a crisis before it's worth changing.
