Scope & FAQ

Clear boundaries matter.

The service described on this website is designed for practical personal development, skill building, problem-solving, decision-making, and support through life circumstances. It is deliberately separate from psychotherapy and other regulated clinical services.

Is this therapy?

No. Nicole does not provide psychotherapy through this service. The work is focused on practical personal development, patterns, routines, communication, behavior change, decision-making, and navigating life circumstances.

Does Nicole diagnose mental-health conditions?

No. Diagnosis and clinical assessment are outside the scope of this service.

Can I work with Nicole if I already see a therapist or other mental-health professional?

Possibly. The services are different. If you already receive clinical care, you should keep that provider informed about other support when appropriate. Nicole will not replace or contradict regulated clinical care.

Do I need to be military-connected?

No. Nicole has substantial familiarity with the Vicenza military community, including life around Caserma Ederle and Del Din, but other English-speaking adults in the area are welcome when the request fits the service.

Do you work with spouses and parents?

Yes, adult spouses and parents may reach out about their own goals, routines, communication, family pressures, transitions, and decision-making.

Do you work directly with children or teenagers?

Nicole intends to work with preteens and teens age 11 and older when the request fits the service scope. For anyone under 18, a parent or legal guardian must use the approved booking/consent process. Direct minor services remain production-gated until Italian safeguarding, consent, privacy, scope, and insurance requirements are verified and configured.

Can Nicole help with relationship problems?

Yes. Couples & family support can focus on communication, recurring conflict, roles, expectations, boundaries, routines, transitions, and practical next steps. It is not couples therapy or family therapy.

Can Nicole help with attention or focus problems?

She can work on practical issues such as distractibility, hyperfocus, organization, routines, task initiation, time use, and follow-through. She does not diagnose attention disorders through this service.

Can Nicole help with substance use?

This independent service is not addiction treatment. A person seeking treatment for alcohol or drug use should use an appropriate regulated treatment provider. Practical work on general habits or coping patterns may be within scope only when it does not substitute for needed treatment.

What if I am in crisis or feel unsafe?

This is not an emergency or crisis service. If there is immediate danger or a medical emergency in Italy, contact emergency services at 112.

Is Nicole affiliated with the U.S. Army or Department of Defense?

No. I do not report to command or routinely share information with command simply because you use this service. The service is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Army, Department of Defense, USAG Italy, Caserma Ederle, Del Din, the American Red Cross, or USO.

What if I am not sure whether my situation fits?

Send a brief WhatsApp message describing what you want help working through. Nicole can tell you whether the request appears to fit the scope before you go further.

How much is a session?

A single 60-minute session costs €90. The monthly option is €250 for four 60-minute sessions.

What information should I put in the booking form?

Provide only the contact and scheduling information requested. Do not include medical records, diagnoses, detailed mental-health information, crisis information, or other sensitive health information in the booking form.
